Overview

There are three tiers for FLW Fantasy Fishing points: 2010 FLW Tour Angler of the Year Points, Top 10 Bonus Points, and Winner Points.

Points are recalculated each day of the tournament. FLW members with Player’s Advantage will notice this in the Real-Time Scoring section during the weigh-in on FLW Live, as they see their points change with every new weight. For those without Player’s Advantage, the daily points changes will be reflected in the final results at the end of each day’s weigh-in. However, all points are awarded based on the final standings from each tournament.

New for 2010, players will not have to select specific positions within the top 10. You simply choose 10 anglers and select a winner from one of the 10. In addition, players are required to enter a cumulative winning weight (spanning all four days of competition) for tiebreaking purposes. The contestant that is closest to that total would win the tiebreaker.

TIER 1 – FLW Tour Angler of the Year Points

Anglers earn points for their finish in each FLW Tour event. An angler who finishes an FLW Tour event in first place receives 200 points. A second-place finish yields 199 points, a third-place finish earns 198 points, and so on. Fantasy players earn the same number of points the angler earns.

TIER 2 – Top 10 Bonus Points

Bonus points are awarded for anglers on your roster that finish in the top 10 for a tournament. If any of your 10 anglers ultimately finish in first place, you’ll receive 2,500 additional points.
2nd-place finish= 2,250 additional points
3rd: 2,000
4th: 1,750
5th: 1,500
6th: 1,250
7th: 1,000
8th: 750
9th: 500
10th: 250

So if you pick Brent Ehrler and he finishes in sixth place you would receive 1,250 additional points.

Likewise if you pick Brent Ehrler and he finishes in first place you would receive 2,500 additional points.

TIER 3 – Winner Points

Contestants are also required to pick the first-place finisher. If they correctly pick that angler, they receive 2,500 points IN ADDITION to TIER 1 and TIER 2 points.
